Sequoia Ramsey Honored With Enterprising Women Of The Year Award
January 26, 2012 – The Path Forward Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is pleased to announce that ACTiVATE at UMBC alum (Class of 2007) Sequoia Ramsey, President/CEO of Realistic Computing, Inc., has received the Enterprising Women of the Year award for 2012 by Enterprising Women magazine.
Realistic Computing, Inc. in Baltimore, MD, provides comprehensive IT services, with expertise in local and wide area networks, hosting, web design and an array of managed services.
This award honors women business owners who have demonstrated that they have fast-growth businesses, mentor or actively support other women and girls involved in entrepreneurship, and stand out as leaders in their communities. Many of the award recipients are also leaders in key organizations that support the growth of women’s entrepreneurship. Sequoia won in the category of companies over $1 million and up to $5 million in annual revenue. Winners will be recognized at the 10th Annual Enterprising Women of the Year Awards Celebration on March 12 at Office Depot headquarters and on March 13 at the Ritz-Carlton in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
