The first step in starting a business – and one where many aspiring entrepreneurs get stuck – is identifying that perfect idea. Some people have trouble coming up with valuable ideas while others suffer from Shiny Penny Hell(TM) – that moment when the many great ideas you have paralyze you into inaction.

In this interactive workshop, participants will walk through proven processes to unlock the creativity within to come up with potential business ideas – to get the Shiny Penny Hell(TM). You will also begin to explore the process of evaluating ideas to recognize the ones of real value.

This workshop is for you whether you already own your business, are looking for new ideas, or are itching to start a business but don’t have that killer idea. It will change the way you look at your options.  It will awaken your sensibilities to perceive possible innovations all around and identify viable opportunities that address your needs while leveraging your strengths.

• Understand why innovation is today’s global economic imperative

• Learn how to build a creative work space and processes for innovation 

• Explore sources of innovation: where do ideas come from? How do you get them?

• Understand high-level criteria for sifting through the ideas to pick the good ones
